I would not worry about it and carry on learning despite the occasional frustration keeping in mind that is a natural process and only means you are learning and getting better. Learning requires some struggling and it can be a slight shock when one is used to working smoothly.
Now in regard to your frustration when learning new things I can only say that it is natural. In addition to that it is a fact, that version 2.79 is planned to be made available for download in the future when 2.80 is released like every other previous version same as these here and it is also going to remain free for downloading so there will definitely be nothing stopping anyone from using it in the future. In fact it is the current version until 2.80 is released, that has not happened yet at the time I am writing this.
